"Sir, we have to go back. A child is seriously sick in that tent and we have no more food and water supplies." Begged Abram's servant. Abram thought of God. He remembered how God had called him to depart from his country to a far away land which God had assigned for Him. God had even promised him that he would make him a great nation for his descendants would be as many as the stars on the sky. Abram was determined to obey the voice of God and no one would ever stop that-not even his beautiful wife Sarai!

Years had passed since Joseph had lastly seen his family. He missed his father Jacob terribly. Joseph cried at the thought of his kid brother Benjamin. Joseph had been in the dungeon in Egypt for years for a crime he had never committed. He remembered how his half brothers had sold him so mercilessly into slavery. With time,he had forgiven them and missed them too. They say that time does heal all wounds and it surely did in the case of Joseph. Life made no sense to to Joseph but He had never blamed God for his misfortunes. Joseph kept praying that God would one day remember him. Joseph had wasted most years of his youth in prison. As a result,he had very little education to account for. I tell you what; one day when life completely made no sense to Joseph, God showed up. Joseph the prisoner was crowned the prime minister in a foreign land! Egypt then ruled the world.
As David fought with the bear and lion to protect his father's sheep,he thought that life made no sense. To make matters worse, his brothers abhorred him. They openly showed him that, nothing good would ever come out of him. Despite all that, David never stopped loving God. He kept praising God earnestly and kept writing many letters to God which are the Psalms of today. One day, God sent the prophet Samuel to anoint him as the king of his nation.
Reader, when life makes no sense, hold on to God. Trust Him with all your heart. Do not look back at the time you have wasted; for when God finally lifts you up,He will restore it all. God will crown you with more than you could ever imagine; but you have to qualify. Follow the example of Joseph and David and i promise you that your story will sooner or later completely change- to the best of course!

A lot of people are scared of living. They are afraid of trying new things. They are afraid of dying and as a result live in a world of fear and uncertainty. Fear is the exact opposite of faith. Fear has limited many great potentials. When fear is present, a lot of great opportunities are ignored. The end result is that, you end up living a life that is way below what God had planned for you. Don't you know that before you were conceived God knew you? He knew what you would become and even anointed you. His word confirms that excellently in Jeremiah chapter 1:4-5. Do not make a mistake of ever thinking that you have no purpose in this world for God is way too busy to engage in vain businesses. Besides, God can never lie and His true word strongly confirms that.
Jeremiah was afraid to live his life as God had ordained him. He even tried to argue with God by saying that he was but a youth. A lot of people have so many excuses as why they fear to live their lives to the fullest. They fail to realize that, time waits for no man. A day would surely come when they would look back at how they had lived their lives and regret deeply.
The word of God gives an account of a man called Jonah. God had called him to preach to the city of Nineveh and warn it of God's impending wrath. Like many of us today, Jonah was afraid to live his life according to God's will and decided to flee away to a different city. He forgot that, the presence of God was everywhere and there was practically no hiding place! God has commanded us in the book of Isaiah 41:10, that we should not fear for He surely is with us. I just want you to know that, you never came into this world by accident. If you fully trust in God who brought you here,He will always be by your side. He created you to rule and to conquer the world and that can never happen if you are afraid to live. The world has ruled and conquered many who were afraid to live. What are you afraid of if i may ask? There is one thing for sure; we were all born once and will at one time leave this world through death. Even in your fear, all mankind has the same fate! Live your life fearlessly according to God's purpose for you and it will be well with you.

Lady Judith was stressed up. Her marriage was at breaking point. Alex her husband had become alcoholic and a popular womanizer. Judith's days were marked with unbearably busy schedules as she had all housework to do plus her demanding full time job which she had to do to make ends meet. Alex had lost his job due to his alcoholic state. The couple had been blessed with three awesome children which Judith dropped at school at different time schedules. Judith hardly got time to herself. She woke up usually very early only to end up sleeping so late. Had she tried getting a domestic worker? There is this day that Judith would maybe live to remember- the day she caught Alex in bed with a longtime serving domestic worker. It was a snowy dark winter night but as Judith's adrenalin rose up,she sent the domestic worker packing.
Today would mark exactly five days since Alex had gone missing. His phones were switched off. Judith had contacted the police countless times to no avail. She went further to contact all Alex's known friends but none seemed to have seen him. As she sat in deep thoughts, the ringing of her phone startled her. She picked it up only to hear a woman raining abusive words and telling her to back off from her man. Before she had the time to ask any questions,Alex was on the phone and went straight to ask for a divorce without further explanations. She hanged up on him.
At dusk,Alex staggered into the house. Judith could no longer control the feelings of pain which she had concealed for so many years. As they say,you can never argue with a fool. Fools are like empty cans which make lots of noise. Alex was a fool. Or what would you call a man who leaves a strikingly beautiful woman like Judith for super-size ugly harlots? Alex gave it back to Judith and reminded her of the dowry he had given her parents before tying the knot with her. The dowry had included six goats which her parents and elders had rained incantations on before slaughtering them. Later everyone ate the meat to celebrate the newly engaged couple. Judith was a born again christian who never lived a double life. She had always been a woman after God's heart but unknown to her a door had been opened to the devil through the blood from the dowry goats which needed to be shut! That was indeed an eye-opener to Judith. Always beware for the devil uses traditions to tie people down!
